What a day!

Today was a madhouse of meetings! I was in one meeting in the morning for nearly 2 hours and then an emergency of sorts took place and I had to speak with someone from the district office. From there, I had lunch. Then, I had another meeting during 4th hour. Gracious!

So, I am very sorry dear bloggers and students for being so absent. You ARE my priority. Unfortunately, meeting your needs sometimes means stepping outside of the classroom to better attend to your learning needs. Wild, eh?

One of the fantastic things about this school is that I have the wickedly cool opportunity to get to know students really well. At the same time, I sometimes feel like we are short on adults in the building to really attend to all of our student's mental, chemical, health and academic needs. Do you agree? I do my best to help where I can but I often feel pulled in different directions. Do you agree? How are you affected by our school's staffing? Is it just right?

How are you all? Ready for prom. For extra credit today, write a short story about prom:)
