Back to School...err, Valleyfair

Well, I'm nearly back. After a wonderfully exhausting and busy weekend, capped off by a relaxing birthday and trip to the dentist, I have returned to Creative Arts for the final stretch. Yesterday, Caleb sent me a text to ask if I would sign student's forms today and I said yes, but then I realized that many students are NOT passing their English class with me. Sigh. And that filled my body with dread. For example, in this class, some students have gone a full week without posting anything- zilch, zippo, nothing. Not a response to a daily question, not the first memoir entry, not any of the Wikipedia work assigned last week and in some cases, no Flickr work at all. I am aghast, dismayed and sad for those students. To those students who actively choose not to work: I am worried for you. For those who are under duress or experiencing difficult times, I am hear to listen to help. For anyone in between, a conversation is absolutely necessary if you haven't been blogging. Today is day two of memoir writing. For those who remain at school, may it be fruitful and productive.
