Inspiration

Well, the Flickr projects that have come in are wonderful! I love the pictures people found and also how their infused their interests into their trips. Excellent! If you haven't finished this project, please do so ASAP! If you want to see some people's work, check out Twiggy's and David's blogs.

Looking at their work, I would like you to create a second folder or batch in your Flickr account. For this small task, I would like you to assemble a series of pictures that serve as your artistic inspiration and that motivate your work forward. What artists inspire you? What images or pieces are underpinnings of your art? Please include narration and a defense of your choices, as relates to your art. For some of you who are poets and writers, you do not need to include photos if you so choose. Instead, you can choose to include written works that move you.
